ABOUT US

The company

constructively courageous

The success story of Kaufmann Building Systems
began over 70 years ago ...

… as a carpentry workshop in Reuthe in the Bregenzerwald. Today, Kaufmann Bausysteme is managed by Christian Kaufmann, the third generation of the family. The name Kaufmann has always been synonymous with innovation in this tradition-conscious region. Then as now, there have always been courageous people in the company who were able to think one idea ahead and plan one step ahead.

We have found that constructive lateral thinking is just as likely to get you to the finish line of a solution. Not necessarily faster, but more successful, because more innovative, more courageous. This thought process is like a passion that helps us to network with the right people. Thanks to everyone who thinks successfully with us – also laterally in the sense of thinking ahead.

Christian Kaufmann

Managing Director Kaufmann Bausysteme

In 2015, I met Christian Kaufmann while looking for a manufacturer of sanitary units for the WOODIE student residence. An initial informational discussion developed into a close, friendly collaboration that made WOODIE a game changer for us and the industry. Our now close partnership is characterised by constant innovation that underlines our creative and effective German-Austrian teamwork.
