HOCOMP Schools

After realising over 30 school projects, Kaufmann Building Systems is setting standards in the development of future-oriented educational facilities in Berlin. In partnership with the renowned architecture firm nkbak, a long-standing partner, the company is driving forward the realisation of the innovative HOCOMP concept. This concept combines wooden modules to create functional educational units that increase pedagogical flexibility and impress with an improved indoor climate.

The first HOCOMP school on Bisamstraße-Landsberger Straße is already in the final stages and will be ready for occupancy by the 2025/2026 school year. Other schools are already under construction. The HOCOMP concept enables open learning areas and supports modern educational requirements by optimally combining architecture, organisation and pedagogy. With a portfolio of advanced and sustainable educational infrastructures, Kaufmann Building Systems demonstrates its expertise as a specialist in educational construction that combines educational quality with ecological sustainability.
