Milestone reached – Stapelfest in Rostock!

Whenever the last module is stacked, we traditionally celebrate the stacking ceremony with everyone involved in the project. We were proud to celebrate this milestone on 27 February at Germany’s largest timber module construction project, the Hochschule für den Zoll in Rostock.

Over 1,000 timber modules were prefabricated in a pop-up factory in Rostock and assembled directly on the building. Two residential buildings with over 600 flats for students and a teaching building are being built.

We are delighted to celebrate this milestone together and would like to take this opportunity to thank all Kaufmann employees for their tireless efforts and all project partners and project participants for their reliable planning and craftsmanship and wish them continued smooth construction progress.
