Sustainable living space in Langenegg: a neighbourhood for the future

The new “Leiten” residential neighbourhood was created on a 9,900 m² plot in Langenegg – a showcase project for affordable and sustainable living space. Inspired by the classic Bregenzerwald hamlet structure, a dense construction method with a high quality of living and quality of life was realised.

The neighbourhood consists of three buildings connected by a shared underground car park. Two street-side buildings with cross gables and spanning-type floor plans and a second-row pergola building with a gabled roof and screen façade form a harmonious unit.

The modular timber construction systems from purelivin were specially adapted for this project and enable a resource-conserving, site-compatible design that creates identity and atmosphere – a forward-looking concept for sustainable living.
