A new home for students on the southern edge of Göttingen University's North Campus
The five-storey building with an inner courtyard serves as a hall of residence for 265 students. The ground floor with a spacious communal terrace is the communal part of the hall of residence. The four floors above are reserved exclusively for residential use. The 265 compact residential units were built as room modules from solid wood with a maximum degree of prefabrication and a very short construction time. Each unit has its own bathroom and a kitchenette integrated into a multifunctional unit. The visible wooden surfaces in the interior create a healthy indoor climate and give the units a warm and peaceful living atmosphere.
