Sustainable design meets Bavarian lifestyle: The Bader Hotel
The Bader Hotel combines modern architecture and ecological sustainability in 50 hotel rooms made entirely of spruce wood and supplied as prefabricated modules by Kaufmann Bausysteme. The natural sleeping climate is enhanced by the green roof surface, which both moderates the summer heat and retains heat in winter, making air conditioning unnecessary. The rooms are optimally oriented to the east or west to maximise natural light. Inside, a mixture of oak wood, stone and soft natural tones dominate, complemented by traditional Bavarian elements such as roebuck antlers and customised furniture, creating a unique feel-good atmosphere.
