Demographic change and the megatrend of urbanisation are huge challenges – more living space is urgently needed, and the affordability of buying/renting is playing an increasingly important role. One solution is certainly modular timber construction. However, it requires a rethink on the part of the players. Away from prototyping towards more standardisation for the rapid serial implementation of residential construction projects.
