The world’s first high-bay warehouse made of wood impresses with its dimensions: 110 metres long, 22 metres wide and 25 metres high. The 3-aisle facility comprises 12 storeys and stands for innovation and sustainability. Salt and wood – the perfect combination. The chemical combination of NaCl and H₂O causes corrosion. Steel therefore requires multiple coatings, while wood requires no additional treatments in this environment. These properties make wood the most economical solution. Efficient construction method: Thanks to the high degree of prefabrication, the warehouse was erected in just 10 weeks. This emphasises the efficiency and precision of the construction concept.
