The Werkraum Haus, designed by renowned Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, was built in the centre of Andelsbuch in 2013. This building, realised by local craft businesses, acts as a meeting point and a living showcase for craftsmanship in the Bregenzerwald. The construction is characterised by a sweeping wooden roof and a transparent glass façade that showcases the craftsmanship. The versatile hall offers 700 square metres of space for exhibitions and events. Peter Zumthor, who is known for his collaboration with craftsmen in the region, is making a strong cultural statement with the Werkraum Haus
