Architectural highlight with column-free interior and enormous spans

The architectural design of the 170 metre long and 70 metre wide monolith combines black and crimson corrugated sheet metal with an ultra-modern timber structure on the inside. The load-bearing ceiling construction of 65 glulam trusses, supported by 11 metre high wooden columns at regular intervals of 1.8 metres, allows for enormous spans and an open interior design. Concrete cross walls provide the necessary bracing and define the spatial boundaries. This construction method not only supports sustainable architecture, but also facilitates future adaptations and extensions to the technical installations.
